It is on the 10th floor. So if you sit on the end you'll have a nice view. Even the wind there was cold. It is quite expensive. But the ambience is great. The service was good but a bit slow I felt. We went on weekdays so it was not crowded but even then servicing was slow. The food was on point. We ordered chestnut roast, chicken dimsum, noodles with chicken curry, and prawns taco. We also had peach crush, Magnum and corona beer.

We decided to visit GING on Valentine's Day because of the rating. Our experience was poor pretty much from the start. Though we had a reservation, we were seated at a 4 person table next to a couple, one of whom smoked. When we requested for a different seat because of the smoking, we were seated at an 8 person table which again had a person smoking at the next table. I would have thought there would be a section where groups who wanted to smoke could sit. Soon, a group of 4 was seated at our table which meant that we were 2 groups having dinner at the same table though separated by a chair in between. With respect to dinner, we started with Creamed Sweet Corn Crab Meat soup which was very good. For starters, we had Coca Cola Chicken Wings which were quite small and bony. Also, they tasted quite sweet but not sour which the server had told us they would be. We then had Prawn Siu Mai Dim Sums which were very tasty. Lastly, we had Peking Duckling Rolls which were decent but had pineapple in them which we both didn't like. For main course, we had Pad Thai which I felt was not up to par though my wife thought it was ok. The whole meal took two hours and fifteen minutes. The service was very poor and we had to follow up on the dishes we ordered multiple times. The finished dishes weren't cleared either. The seating and the serving seemed very disorganized. I could see servers almost running to give dishes at times. It definitely wasn't just us who had issues. I saw a couple arguing for quite some time with the staff. I can safely say this was an extremely poor experience and I will never be visiting this restaurant again.

Delicious Asian food. Their crystal dumplings were quite good, as was their Spinach and Shimeji mushroom soup. The water chestnut toast was interesting, and their Tofu and stir fried shiitake mushroom in oyster sauce was absolutely delicious. The staff was polite and service was good, the view was pretty good and it gets pretty windy. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful afternoon brunch to try out some great food!

Went in for a Sunday unlimited brunch with the family. The roof top is not actually an open roof top experience you would expect rather it's a closed roof with large open place. We opted vegetarian buffet for 5, the waiter was very rude to us, had no courtesy to even repeat the menu for us, he even had a straight face (waiter name was Raki Bull) he did not even want to us to enjoy our time there. The food was excellent I wish they would bring the dim sums faster and also serve ice creams in the buffet. They had clubbed our a-la-carte bill with the the buffet bill which is not fair on their part. Also the Khao Suey served was a very small portion with 2 strands of noodles and they charged us for a big portion of it.

This is a restaurant at the Royal Orchid in Manipal Center. It's listed as a speciality Chinese restaurant. The ambience is very dated and jaded but service is good. Food is not bad but definitely not out of the world. Quite a pricey ₹₹₹₹₹ restaurant and surely not worth it. Maybe a one time visit and definitely will avoid this ultra high cost restaurant next time. There are obviously much better and cheaper restaurants nearby isn't it. 👍👍👍

GING Restaurant is located on 10 th floor rooftop of Royal Orchid, behind Manipal Center, Bangalore. The Place is done beautifully with minimum Interiors and is pleasant to sit as it offers a beautiful view of the city at night. The glittering lights and traffic crawling on the road below just adds up to the experience. The Place can easily accommodate around 80-100 pax at full capacity. Have a full fledged bar and the bartender is good on his job. The Food Service here SUCKS to the core. We had a office party from HDFC LIFE on 11.02.22 for 30 pax. The Place was empty with max other 4 guests apart from the Office group. The Bar had a 90 minute cap which went perfectly well. The Starters Samosa were one thing that was good and also served hot. The Chicken Starters were a shame to be called so with not even the heating flame on for any of the items. Most of the times, the tray was empty. Coming to the main course, we had only Dahi Vada and Veg Tikki to start with. White Rice and Aloo gravy came next… then comes the Peas Pulav after 20 minutes, then comes the Soup after other 10 minutes followed by a Sad vegetable gravy and once you are done with dinner comes the Rotis… Wow guys that was real one sad experience. The Chicken was so hard in the gravy that our teeth cried out in pain when chewing… think it’s time we get this type of experience NOT to be repeated again. Understand sometimes it’s a bad day, things don’t go right but the INJUSTICE DONE TO A BEAUTIFUL PLACE LIKE THIS IS JUST NOT RIGHT…. Hope all these can be addressed on priority and the place can be made better. Parking available for both Cars and 2 Wheelers They Serve Hookah priced from Rs 1700/- onwards. A great place to visit for the good interiors, great view of City and the Service Staff were very polite. Special thanks to Mr. Olvie for making the evening a bit pleasant.
